This throwback is probably 1990 sumn. My Bro and I were in the snow and I honestly can't remember the memory but it looks like a good one.

Cleaning and found some old video game systems from my childhood. Honestly this isn't even half of them lol. I was into gadgets as a child. Funny that kids care more about clothes now. Glad I'm from another era.

I was walking through the food court in my jobs building and saw this ornament. It's one of the old ones with water that bubbles in the light. I haven't seen one of these since I was 6 in my Grand Mothers house in Jamaica. Made me nostalgic about the simpler days. Man I miss her, I wonder if she's proud of me where She's at.

To the left is the original printing of Spawn number one that I purchased as a child. Now I have the first edition on my iPad 2. #ICare

Found some old spec work I did before anyone took me on as a client. At the time I was a huge Shyne fan. I still am ( the old stuff anyway). I created this booklet based around an album concept I created in my head. At the time I didnt think he would do the entire 10 years. Man, time sure does fly.

We'll Always Love Big Poppa

A woman finds herself at a shooting gallery. She wants to shoot. If she hits the target, a picture of her will be taken. She hits. That was 1936. She did the same thing almost every year after that. Her name is Ria van Dijk and she started making trips to the shooting galleries when she was 16. Even at 88, she continued her tradition, getting a photograph taken every year. The photographs were collected by Erik Kessels and Joep Eijkens in a book called In Almost Every Picture #7. It's an amazing series, not only for her dedication, but to be able to take a looking glass into all the different eras she's lived in. More after the jump.

The chronological series begins in 1936, when a 16-year-old girl from Tilburg in Holland picks up a gun and shoots at the target in a shooting gallery. Every time she hits the target, it triggers the shutter of a camera and a portrait of the girl in firing pose is taken and given as a prize. And so a lifelong love affair with the shooting gallery begins. This series documents almost every year of the woman's life (there is a conspicuous pause from 1939 to 1945) up until present times. At the age of 88 Ria van Dijk still makes her pilgrimage to the Shooting Gallery.
